Arvada, Colo., May 5, 2014 – Sundyne recently unveiled the addition of the Pressure Products Industries (PPI) brand portfolio to its line of compressor technologies. Ideal for applications relating to the refining, petrochemical, chemical, LNG and semiconductor markets, these advanced compressors are finding new uses in offshore applications, thanks to the support of the Sundyne application engineering team.
Renowned for their highly reliable, leak-free performance and ability to compress critical gases, PPI compressors are built to comply with modified API 618 industrial standards and are known for their exceptional durability. They also feature exceptional corrosion resistance and are outfitted with highly sensitive leak detection technology. In sum, they represent a perfect process solution for use on environmentally challenging offshore installations, such as FPSOs and platform rigs.
“The PPI portfolio of compressors are designed to deliver rugged reliability and safely operate in the most demanding environments,” explained Sundyne President Jeff Wiemelt. “Along with their streamlined design and compact footprint, these characteristics make them the ideal choice for offshore gas compression applications like sour gas recovery.”
Currently, PPI compressors can be configured in single- and multi-stage packages capable of delivering heads to 153 cfm (210 m3 / hr) and discharge pressures to 15,000 psi (103 MPag).
PPI is a former member of the Milton Roy family of pump products, which is now a part of the Accudyne Industries group. PPI sealless diaphragm compressors are available now through the global network of Sundyne channel partners.
